Maria Antoniak, PhD

Maria Antoniak is a young investigator at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence on the Semantic Scholar team. Her research is in natural language processing and cultural analytics, with a focus on online communities, health care, and narratives. She earned her PhD in information science from Cornell University and has a master’s degree in computational linguistics from the University of Washington, and she has worked as a research intern at Microsoft Research, Twitter, Facebook, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
