Logan Burdette
At the AAMC Center for Health Justice, Logan has been assisting with key aspects of planning the Maternal Health Incubator, as well as supporting the center’s public polling on maternal health. Prior to her time at the AAMC, Logan was a Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) intern at the Baltimore City Health Department. There, she supported the FIMR director and coordinator in communicating case data and recommendations by writing the 2019 FIMR maternal hypertension project as a part of the B’more for Healthy Babies program. She is a student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she will earn a bachelor’s degree in public health in December 2022. Upon graduating, Logan plans to pursue a career in health care quality management, which she hopes to merge with her passion for maternal health by working with maternal safety and quality improvement programs.
