Daria C. Grayer, JD, MA
Daria is the director of policy for the AAMC Center for Health Justice and currently serves as senior lead specialist for science policy and regulations at the AAMC. Her work focuses on conflicts of interest, human subjects protection, clinical trials, and evidence-based regulation in the biomedical research enterprise.
Prior to joining the AAMC, Daria was a law clerk to John Hargrove Jr., chief administrative judge for the Baltimore City District Court, and served as a clinical bioethicist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., as one of the first full-time bioethicists for a major U.S. hospital system. Daria’s experience in medical ethics, law, and policy has strengthened her commitment to advance social justice and equity through her work at the Center for Health Justice.
